About our  2020 Season

Despite adjusting to the rules and regulations that came with the COVID-19 pandemic, we were ultimately successful overall in our 2020 season. We participated in a competition, which was a great learning experience for new team members, and focused our outreach on encouraging STEM within the community by making a children's pamphlet containing various engineering projects which could be completed at home. We received 2nd place for the motivate award in our tournament for our outreach efforts. Overall, we learned a lot in the 2020 season and created a strong experienced team out of previously new members with the help of our two lovely mentors.

About our 2019 Season

Roses and Rivets was founded in 2019, and despite some ups and downs, our first season ended in success. Our team was mostly comprised of high school freshmen, and many of us were new to robotics. We learned a lot throughout the season, and were fortunate enough to have two wonderful mentors to help us along the way. We entered one tournament in the 2019 season, and won the Judges Award, which is given to teams that standout in the judges eyes either for team principle, a unique feature, or general good performance. Over the course of the season, we gained a lot of knowledge and experience, and a solid foundation for our team to build even further off of.
